Electromyography | A Possible Muscle Interface

I've been looking at using Electromyography through the use of a forearm band that obtains muscle movements from the users hand/finger movements.

The following video helps to explain the applicability of the technology as a future gestural interface for controlling MP3 players and Guitar Hero. Please note that this concept simply uses a pinching technique; for this Arm Band project I am proposing, I hope to provide the ability to use a more natural approach to sending control data through the muscles.
